Introducing Boombox, a new way to experience music on the iPhone and iPod Touch. Powered by Blip.fm and sponsored by independent record label Hometapes, Boombox allows users to search through a catalog of streaming music filled with millions of songs. Users can create playlists from Blip.fm songs or purchase songs through iTunes. Visually, Boombox is reminiscent of classic 80s boomboxes with animated equalizer and pulsing speakers. Oh yeah, and did we mention it’s free?
